Tuesday, March 3, 2020: Polson Hill Work Day

Missouri Prairie Foundation
Join MPF Director of Prairie Management Jerod Huebner for a Polson Hill Work Day.

Work will consist of cutting and piling brush - moving downed trees off of the prairie area. Some fire line cutting will take place in prep for future burns. Those that are experienced running a chainsaw can bring a saw and proper PPE. All others bring gloves, appropriate clothing, and water.

Directions: Rock Port, MO exit - MO 136 and I-29 intersection go east or right for those coming from the south. Turn south on speedy's drive/outer road and go about 2/3 of a mile. There will be a drive turning back up the hill on the left and transmission powerlines crossing the road. The prairie is under the powerlines. We will park along the drive that turns back to the north.
