Partner and Host:
Join us on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Springfield Botanical Gardens for a Grow Native! workshop featuring Scott Woodbury of Shaw Nature Reserve
You love native plants, but you want put-together native landscaping that looks great throughout the year. Scott Woodbury, manager of the 26-year-old Whitmire Wildflower Garden at Shaw Nature Reserve, will help you achieve this, with design considerations, plant selection, and development of a maintenance schedule. A native plant sale, exclusively for workshop attendees, will follow Woodbury's presentation; at noon, the plant sale will be open to the general public.
Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Victoria Hatfield regrets that she has had to cancel this speaking engagement. However, we are pleased that Scott Woodbury, manager of the 26-year-old Whitmire Wildflower Garden at Shaw Nature Reserve, will present. Scott spends much time speaking, writing and consulting throughout the region on native landscape planning. Read more about Scott by clicking on his talk below.
