Don’t miss the 25th anniversary celebration of the Whitmire Wildflower Garden and the First-ever Fine Gardening Symposium at Shaw Nature Reserve!

Friday, October 19 –  4:30 pm to 7:00 pm – Social in the Garden, welcome and introduction by Dr. Quinn Long followed by keynote address from Scott Woodbury: 25 Years of Native Landscaping in The Whitmire Wildflower Garden

Saturday, October 20 – 8 am to 4:30 pm – Presentation on the history of gardening with native plants in the St. Louis region and beyond, plus tours and discussion in the garden with the experts: Scott Woodbury, Jen Sieradzki, Terri Brandt, James Faupel, Angie Weber, Victoria Hatfield, Cody Heyo, Carrie Coyne, Mervin Wallace, Susie Van de Reit, Cassie Bock Holcomb, Neal Hansum, Mitch Leachman, Simon Barker, and Chris Hartley.
