Volume 3 of Steyermark’s Flora of Missouri Now Complete

Every single wild plant species in Missouri is now down on paper.

This summer, researchers from the Missouri Botanical Garden completed a 26-year project documenting all known uncultivated flora of the Show-Me State. The result is a 1,382 page volume, the third in a series, and the first complete state plant encyclopedia in 50 years.

Curator George Yatskievych served as project leader, working with Garden botanists and the Missouri Department of Conservation on the volume.   CLICK THE LINK ABOVE for the complete story.
